Mission trip in Thailand
Background
In a village nearby Chiang Mai – Thailand’s second largest city, a group of Chinese people residing there with their families, without legal documents as residents in that place. However, they do not forget their homeland in China by continue learning Chinese language. Currently, they have 3 schools in that village, whereas there is a Christian School occupied by more than 870 students. A lot of missionaries and believers from all over the world coming to this place for mission trip.
Starting from the vision and mission of the JCC, brothers and sisters in their prayers started feeling burden on this place. Thanks God for His will by preparing 16 brothers and sisters from 7 churches to take part in this mission trip on 6-11 January 2014 (6 days trip).
Introduce our members of Short-term Mission trip
This is the first time JCC arranged the mission trip to Thailand after announcing it in a joint prayer meeting in September. On that day, 10 brothers and sisters applied for the trip. Furthermore, there should be another brother from Kansai plan to join the trip, but unfortunately, the pre-condition of this short-term mission requires must attend eight training. In mid-October, totally 15 persons already applied for the mission trip. Thanks God for His will! Our leader in this mission trip was Pastor Park +15 warriors in Christ, totaled up a team with 16 people. Participants are all from 4 different countries and 7 churches. Hallelujah! Glory to His name !
